I found it little quaky at the beginning when the thought came into my mind, but then I thought – why not? After all SEO is something which can reach anywhere.



One can easily have a dedicated URL for mobiles and have it standardized for re- sized page. Horizontal, vertical or both – whichever suits your view better (with big screen mobiles coming in the market, this is not a big thing). The only thing you need to keep a constant account of is to maintain a single standard. For different mobiles there can be different set of rules, but when you do SEO for mobiles, it should be on a set standard. As it also allows you if your website is being liked by readers or not. Generally, people love to look at a site which looks similar to them.



Placing advertisements on Mobile website is also one great concern as one really doesn’t like ads to flick on the top of the page with so less (small size) of the page displayed. So, as far as Adsense is concerned – keep it low profile.



SEO for mobiles is a new concept, so far launched by Google itself. As for as you are concerned, you can use firebug, Google transcoder and things like this for optimization of your site for mobiles.
